The 2017 Liping Dong Culture Festival will be held from December 18 to December 20 in Liping County, Guizhou province, Southwest China.
　　During the festival, more than 10 thousand Dong women, girls and men in festival dress come to join the festival, meanwhile the Dong “Nian Festival” will be held in Zhaoxing Dong village and Jiashuo Dong village at the same period.
　　“Dong Nian” festival is one of the important annual occurred festivals among the Dong which is held on the 11th lunar month, the festival lasts 3 three days. The “Dong Nian” festival is called “Yigeng” in Dong language with the meaning of “eating winter”, it’s a festival to memorize the ancestors in Jiashuo Dong villge. As the village with a long history of more than 1000 years, Zhaxig is a nice and beautiful Dong village where there are 5 old drum towers, wind and rain bridge, this year, during the festival in Zhaoxing, one can see Lusheng competition, festival costume displaying and showing.
